What does 'I am scared' mean?
Whenever you find yourself saying or feeling 'I am scared' it actually means these 3 things, in this order
I will make mistakes
You are new to this.
Because of which you will make mistakes.
And that scares you, because...People will laugh at you, and judge you
And that terrifies you.
Because you care about what and how people think of you.
But, what you don't know as yet is that...You are doing something that matters
Which is why this thing scares you, in the first place.
If it didn't matter, you would be indifferent.
But you know you should do it, and you also know that you can't do it as yet, and this combination drives this paralyzing fear.
Fear is natural.
We often confuse the fear of something happening to us, or our loved ones, with the fear of feeling something (embarrassment, shame).
But they aren't the same.
The fear/scare of feeling something undesirable - is often the very reason why we should pursue it.
Because the ONLY way to conquer this fear, is to face it!

Book I read this week
Did not pick up a new book.
We are traveling, and I wanted to focus 100% on that.
In the meantime, here is a list of all books I have shared in this newsletter since Day 1.
A list of all of them can be found here.
Question of the week
I wish to know you better - so a few questions (anonymously ofcourse)
What are you doing right now? (with options)
What’s your age group? (with options)
How do you identify? (with options)
(and see the results of others, too)
Results of last week's question
SUPER Fascinating results.
Let's start with age bands:
When <18, the least score is around money and best score is around people you work with. Which is understandable, because they don't yet have money and they haven't yet started working.
Then 18-30yrs, least score becomes around people you work with (because they start working and realize it’s not all that amazing) and the best score is around content they consume (because they feel in control). Same pattern for 30s as well.
In 40s and beyond, the best aspect of life becomes the food they eat, because by then the awareness and financial ability - both has been built.
For aspects of life, except people whom we work with, every other aspect improves with age.
My response?
My scores are 5,5,5,5,5!
Best life ever, not kidding :)

2 quotes I wish to share
If you listen, you will know what to fix.
If you defend, you will never be able to fix.
If a break breaks the routine, it was never a routine to begin with.
1 new thing I learnt this week
The brain doesn’t know the difference between reality and imagination.
Visualize biting into a pizza or mango - your mouth may start salivating.
That’s your brain reacting as if it’s real.
This is the basis of visualization techniques in sports, therapy, and habit-building.
Mental rehearsal actually rewires your neurons.
