What works for you?
What works for you?
Somebody asked me over email:
"I am 26 years old, working guy, I get lot of ideas on different topics across the day, but they later get lost.
I feel those are great ideas for content creation (if I start someday by any chance) but I want to document them.
My question is - how do you come up with so many topics, content on that, also relating it to yourself and your journey, clearly looks coming directly from yourself, and not a random article taken from the Internet?"
My response:
1. Be curious
2. Carry a notebook
3. Spend time with yourself without a phone, music, people, notebook. Just your thoughts.
That works for me to make sure I retain a lot of my thoughts.
What works for you?
Book I read this week
Still reading Think Like a Rocket Scientist: Simple Strategies for Giant Leaps in Work and Life by Ozan Varol.
The book comprises 9 simple strategies from rocket science that you can use to make giant leaps in work and life. As I progress, the book is becoming more obvious and I find myself nodding more than experiencing amazement.
Definitely a great read for those in their 20s and 30s.
I have shared several books in this newsletter over the years.
A list of all of them can be found here.
Build An Epic Career - another epic review!
The book has a 45% discount right now - in English, in Hindi
Question of the week
Of these worries, what do you worry about the most?
My current life
Future worries
Past memories
I don't worry at all
I worry about all these 3!
(and see the results of others, too)
Results of last week's question
Rarely do the responses remain same across all age bands - this one seems to be the one.
Winter is the unanimous winner.
All other seasons are also more or less the same.
My response?
I love Delhi's winter :))

2 quotes I wish to share
In life, you will meet two kinds of people.
One will build you up.
The other will tear you down.
In the end, you will thank them both.
When nothing is certain, anything is possible.
You can choose to be scared.
Or excited.
1 new thing I learnt this week
If you have to pee real badly and think intensely about sex or watch porn, the urge to pee gets halted because your body prioritises the latter.
This is because sexual arousal and urination are regulated by overlapping areas in the brain and spinal cord, particularly the pontine micturition center and parts of the hypothalamus.
And and and - before you start trying this, this doesn’t always work.
If your bladder is very full, physiological pressure will still trigger the urge to pee, regardless of your thoughts.
