I am an introvert
The biggest myth about introverts.
Introversion has nothing to do with shyness
I’m a public speaker who talks to thousands of people.
And I’m also an introvert!
Very few people know this, and they’re always surprised by this statement.
Because “Don’t introverts hate spending time with people?”
I wish I could say this to all introverts (and extroverts).
Being an introvert has nothing to do with confidence.
It has nothing to do with shyness.
It has nothing to do with skills or capability.
Being an introvert is all about how you find your energy.
Within yourself (introverts) or surrounded by people (extroverts).
I love my own company.
I can spend hours with myself, my thoughts, my readings, my writings.
That gives me energy.
Energy that I can then spend interacting with others.
So if you’re an introvert, don’t let that label limit you.
You can be quiet and powerful.
You can love solitude and still shine in the spotlight.
Honour your nature, and you’ll show up more fully.

Book I am reading
Still reading 1929: The Inside Story of The Greatest Crash in Wall Street History by Andrew Ross Sorkin.
Quite a gripping tale of how even the smartest people ignore the most obvious signs. Or maybe the signs are obvious only in hindsight :)
It is a historical narration of the crash that led to the Great Depression across the world, predominantly in the US. And the remains of the worst stock market crash in global history.
Here is a list of all books I have shared in this newsletter.

Pre-monsoon vibes are all over Delhi. Loving it :))
2 quotes I wish to share
You don’t remove fear in life.
You deal with it.
By facing it!
Pick the direction first.
Then earn the discipline.
1 new thing I learnt this week
Before 1725, if you owned a diamond anywhere in the world, it came from India.
One region. Golconda (Today’s Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.)
The only diamond source on the planet for nearly 2,000 years.
The Kohinoor. The Hope Diamond. The Farnese Blue.
All Golconda.
Then Brazil found diamonds in 1725.
And here’s the funny part - nobody trusted them.
Portuguese traders shipped Brazilian stones through Goa and sold them as “Golconda diamonds” to get a higher price.
“Made in India” was the original luxury label, haha!
Quiz of the week
Last week I asked: Which Indian city got the country’s first metro?
The correct answer is NOT Delhi or Mumbai - it is Kolkata.
Only ~450 people got this answer right.
The lucky winner last week is Chag Vranda (ch***nda@gmail.com)
Question of the week (don’t Google or ask AI!):
Which Indian city got the country's first airport?
Reply with your answer, and I will pick one random winner with the right answer.
They will get a signed copy of a book of mine :))
PS: This section is inspired by Capitalmind’s awesome weekly newsletter - you should subscribe to it - terrific personal finance content.

Sir today your post on introversion on yt suddenly came in my feed and then I joined to this platform as well, I hope this plateform will help me and now I just read ur two post of this and last week I really felt something so good positive it's unexplainable for me😅.
I think you've help me and I'm very grateful to u❤. My elder brother bought two books of yours and I'm gonna start to read one of them 'Build and epic career' that's what I need the most now in the age of 16 running, I've to choose stream further career paths and so on.
Well sir even after saying this much I'm still feeling like something too much is flowing within me after all of this I wanna tell u everything but whenever I feels like I can't say even a single word I don't know what's this but yeah it is it, whenever I find someone like u an idol, successful or at least a person like u it feels like he's closer to me we know each other and so that it feels to tell everything to that person but okay that's just a feeling but I think u deserve what u made me feel☺ thanks sirrr.
I know you'll read this comment but may be won't reply or will, cause you've taken a promise of ' mummy papa ko jhoot bol bol ke unke liye gift lane ki kasam'.
Love u and bye sirrr❤☺.
Very Helpful post sir 🥰🙏
Thank you so much sir for your all love 💝🥹
